Week 6 Run 1

I’ve been looking after my 5 year old granddaughter since my last run last Thursday and got a bit concerned I would end up throwing it all away!!!

Luckily got a family member to help today and took over while I slipped out mid morning.

The only exercise I’ve had this week was walking and a trip to the park yesterday where I managed to get some running races in. It was quite good actually as it’s a massive park and it was then I realised I needed to get back to C25k...

All was fine today, think although I knew about the change in run lengths it was quite good. Funny thing is once I start and it’s only very slow jogging I seem quite happy and never think about the need to stop early.

So pleased I managed today...will just be a few days until Run 2...can’t wait !

Brilliant, well done for squeezing a run in. It takes longer than you think to lose fitness - an extra couple of days rest can really help keep your legs fresh (just watch out for losing your mojo, which you clearly haven't). Enjoy the next run 😊
