Rookie mistake W7R2!! πŸ˜‚ Cadence help!!

Soooo I was quite excited to get out on my run today after quite enjoying W7R1.... πŸ˜‚ here's where the fun starts....

I've been losing weight on slimming world over the last 9 months (3.5 stone so far and almost at target) so I hoped to get out before the rain (in Scotland so all bets are off!!) so quickly got changed and found leggings thinking I hope they fit me now..... πŸ˜‚....... Turns out they are fine when lounging about the house..... Not so much when I run...... Spent 25 minutes holding them up!!!! Will not make that mistake again πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ

Onto the second problem.... I've been running to the same soundtrack for the last few weeks (180 bpm) and its worked grand but must admit its getting a bit boring now..... So tried a few of my favourite songs on Spotify but it knocked my rythym completely off..... Like I couldn't run without my usual songs!?!? Am I a complete idiot?? Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

I completed the run but was a bit flustered with the holding up of the leggings and the music thing... Worried ill have to run to the same songs for the rest of my life πŸ˜‚πŸ™ŠπŸ™ˆ

I run to the same album I used for c25k both times as the beat suits me, all tracks are around 155 bpm. Break aside I have listened to the same album 3 times a week for over a year πŸ˜‚

I'm terrified that if I don't stick with the songs I've become used to.... I'll never run again!!!! πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚

It is funny what we think we can and cant do, I have no music when running just listen to a podcast, or nothing, maybe you could listen to the same tracks until you finish C25K then try another tracks? Can you change a few at a time?

That sounds like a plan.... I suppose I could put the tracks on shuffle (Spotify) and mix it up a bit πŸ‘thank you for replying

Aah yes mine are on shuffle so there is an element of surprise in that
