Reading other people’s posts about wk 8 I feel a bit silly but I am so proud of myself. After suffering a knee injury in week1 i was ready to give up but I have just finished week 2 (took a bit longer than a week) and feeling so good about it. Looking forward to wk3 now. Any tips?

Wk2 completed!
Hey Jessabelle2102 , fab work completing week 2!!
I'd be really curious to know about your knee injury if you'd be happy to share about your experience with that.
As for advice, just take it at your own pace. It sounds like you're really enjoying your running at the moment, so be kind to yourself as you move forward and the runs get longer!

Hey, well done! Any completed run is a big thing to shout about 😀 you got out there and you did it.
The hardest weeks are the early ones, look at this video for how you should be rubbing. Can definitely help ease any aches and soreness from bouncing or taking too big a stride.
There’s no need to feel silly at all! Those of us who are on Week 8 all started from the beginning and were where you are now only a few short week ago! We got here, just like you are doing, by taking it one week at a time, one run at a time. The program prepares us for every single run, building up our stamina! It’s magic 🙂. Well done for completing Week 2! You’ve every right to be proud! Week 3 is building up your stamina further by extending the time you spend running, so treat it just the same. Don’t set out too fast! Slow it right down. As long as you are making the movements of running, it’s OK. I am sure that my running at that stage was barely faster than my walking, but that doesn’t matter. Tell yourself before each run that you can do it! I still do that to get rid of the gremlins who tell me I can’t! Good luck! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Hi there! I’m on week8, so I was doing week 2 only six weeks ago and remember that I found those early weeks really tough! I’m now on week 8, & can hardly believe it... It has been the positive posts and encouragement on here - from both people further along on the program as well as those celebrating the milestones at the same stage as me- that have really helped me along.
This program works, keep it steady, especially if your knees are niggly (I’m pretty slow because I’m heavy, and knees can grumble) and you will succeed!
Looking forward to seeing your week 8 posts in a few weeks time
Congratulations for coming back after injury! It’s hard not on physically but psychologically.
Just keep doing what you are doing.... slow and steady is the way to go !
Oh do not feel silly... you are amazing! 👏👏 Getting up and doing any run would have been unthinkable for me just nine weeks ago, and I remember week 2 being really tough. The programme works so stick with it, and be proud of every single solitary step you take. Take it slow and steady. Looking forward to hearing about your progress. x
The early weeks are the hardest, so you are right to feel proud - enjoy the feeling
