Well I actually didn't want to do this today as I didn't sleep too well last night and I had a few drinks. However this was just what I needed, halfway through it was never going to end and that I can't complete this run. I did and feel soo good for it!!!

Wk2 Run 1 Completed

Just makes you smile doesn’t it? well done for going out

You may get a few days when you don't want to run but once you have it feels so good. Well done 😊
Well done Tamleigh. I too have just done my week 2, run 1 and feel very chuffed at having completed it. I think the longer walking break actually helped me and that nice Michael Johnson is so encouraging! I found his tip about matching breathing to strides very useful and told him so :- next run is Saturday. We can both do this, I know

I'm only just starting this journey myself and beginning to realise that it's as much about mind over matter, than physical ability. Well done.

Good for you.
I opened the curtains this morning, blowing like stink and heavy rain.
Thought may be not, but have run in worse just get your kit on and don't be soft. So I did, nearly blew my hat off a couple of times but did my usual 5k.
Many times my run is fuelled by drink, great way to sort a fuzzy head.
I will wait for your future posts but just remember a bit of grit and can do attitude will serve you well. Go on you know you can do it.🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️

Great job. I love the run where I doubt myself at the halfway mark, it makes that finish line so much more satisfying! Enjoy run two.
