Did my first one last Sunday which was a bit delayed and then just wasn’t feeling it this week for a variety of reasons. This morning I forced myself to go despite waking with a migraine and having to take medication at 1am.
I am sooooo glad I did go as feel fabulous now and much more positive about things generally 😁 It is definitely worth pushing yourself a bit and telling yourself you can do it! YOU CAN DO IT!! 🏃🏻♀️
That’s so good Peggy well done! I think a few of us are struggling atm . I have been very sporadic and BlueSkyabove posted yesterday to say they had only managed 2 runs of just 15 mins. The consolidation club is a good idea but there are so many posts on there it is difficult to follow the same people . I’m following you though so will see your posts and urge you on. Keep it up now you can definitely do this! When will you do your next run?
I’m planning Monday Wednesday Saturday this week (I could already hear the excuses in my head as I typed that so it will be great to be held accountable to do it 😳)
Well had to cancel my run yesterday and not sure when next run will be... my cat bit my wrist yesterday as I was trying to free him from being stuck. Now have infection and throbbing pain so will give the antibiotics a few days....
Oh no what a nightmare for you! I hope the antibiotics kick in quickly and the pain stops.
I didn’t do my Monday run, I just wasn’t feeling well Monday and was very tired. I’ve been tonight though, first time I’ve run with other people, a couple of friends came who are better runners than me but they slowed to my pace and urged me on and I ran 33mins. I also did my first hills 😄 nearly killed me but hey onwards and upwards... literally 😂
Thanks 😊 it wasn’t all uphill though, just a couple of little ones but it was enough for a start. It’s weird though I’m now wishing I could run again tomorrow! It just shows we need to make it a habit, it’s the breaks that cause the problems
