The good feelings created by this run have made the efforts of the last 9 weeks all worth it! If you are just starting out, believe in the app, go slow and steady, and its all doable. Im 49 and carrying a 6st handicap and had done no real exercise for nearly a decade. Whilst Im sure there's many with greater challenges (respect!) the point is, as MJ says, "you can definitely do this". I did face a little nightmare on this last run, the 2mph granny-pushing-buggy-in-the-same-direction challenge. I had to accelerate to light-speed to pull-off the socially-distanced overtake, but I felt sorry for her having to eat my dust for the next 5 minutes as I went back to normal speed. I ran for 30 minutes 3 times this week, the last of which covering 3.6km. 5km here we come in future weeks.

First - well done for graduating! I had to laugh at the 2mph granny. I usually get slow coach dogs and teenagers. Quite like the little bursts of acceleration though. Well done again.
