I've just run for 25 minutes...I never would have believed it 6 weeks ago. Still don't really believe it now !!

I still feel as though I'm running really slowly though -does this just pick up as you get more confident with completing the time/distance? Or should I try anything different? I don't think I could go any faster and still complete the run...

Well done you... and ...just run. Slow and steady is absolutely perfect... it gets us where wish to be, injury free and having enjoyed it:)

After Graduation, then the running evolves... and speed and distance may follow:)

Well Done. Snails and tortoises are good at this stage so don’t worry about being slow. 🐌🐌🐌🐌🐢🐢🐢🐢

Hi,

We are at the same stage. I completed W6/3 on Monday night. Leading up to the run I couldn't stop thinking about it, remembering how hard the 20 minute run had been and expecting that it was going to be a failure. I was so happy that I was able to make it to the end and even managed to up the pace for the last minute so on wards to week 7....

Good luck with the next couple of weeks.

Well done !!! You ought to be proud of that achievement! Think back to W1R1....

As for speed and pace, you’re running for 25mins ... that’s an achievement. As guy run more your stamina increases but I’d say don’t focus on speed or times, just run for you ... run your own pace and race.
