Week 5, run 3....... DONE!!!!! πŸŽ‰

I am SO pleased!!! Today I completed week 5, run 3!!! I ran (jogged) for the whole 20mins without stopping, and considering I was dreading and struggled with the 3 minute runs back in week 3, I cannot believe what I’ve achieved today!!! The worst bit for me was the time between 5-10 mins..... when it got to the 10min mark I was sure Jo was going to say it was 15 minutes..... couldn’t believe I was only halfway through!!! This however made me think... β€˜wow.... halfway through’ and gave me the push to keep going, and strangely the next 10 mins seemed to go so quickly! To anyone who like me was dreading this 20 minute run, I can assure you that you are more prepared for it than you may realise. I took it so steady and tried to focus on my surroundings and enjoying my playlist. Also don’t put too much pressure on yourself either, if you don’t manage it the first time just keep trying and you will get there!!! πŸ’ͺ🏻

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran πŸƒπŸΎ 😊 You deserve to be very proud of yourself 😊 πŸƒπŸΎ

Aaaw, thanks so much!! Iam really proud of myself! ☺️ Will have a look at week 6 and get it into my head what’s coming up so I can tackle it, hopefully without it catching me out! πŸ‘πŸ»

As long as you run the running parts slowly you will be OK.

Brilliant. You are right to be pleased, it's such an achievement. W5R3 is my favourite so far, it makes you believe the 30 mins IS possible. I teared up when I did it! In a good way. 🀣
