Week 5 run 3 done!

So, as some of you know I was nervous about jumping to a 20 minute run. I would just like to reassure anyone who is feeling the same way that if you have done every run up to this one and followed the programme then you will manage it no problem.

I went out at 6.30am and honestly was pleasantly surprised when Laura's voice told me I had ran for 10 minutes - I was halfway through already! What an amazing feeling at the end of the 20 minutes. My pace was 8.06/km and covered 2.5km so that would be a 40 minute 5k. I'm happy with that at this stage and will hopefully pick up my pace as the weeks go on.

Happy Friday everyone!

Happy Friday to you, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Thanks for the warning. I have just read a number of posts about that very thing. To think I was thinking next week would be easier - how wrong!!

As long as you take the run slow and steady you will be 🆗 🏃🏾 👍
