Another one bites the dust !

Week 7 Run 2 Done and dusted ! ✔️

A good run today without any drama's except too much tech ! haha

These 25 minute runs are feeling the norm now .

just too much to start when i get going (i should start my music earlier, stupid boy ! haha)

This was the first run for my new Garmin watch !

and i'm very impressed , except it is too easy to glance and see how much you have done (or not)

so i tried to ignore it and just listen to the music which was 'Echoes' again 😬

settled into my pace nice and early on this one , i was happy with it at 5 mins so it was not a problem.

Before i knew it the halfway bell and Laura telling me i had done 12.5 minutes.

so, just the hills to deal with now , up , down , then up for the last one with an extra little spurt at the end.

before i knew it my music track was ending, and perfectly timed was laura telling me that's it !

So, i actually enjoyed it, apart from now im checking stats ! haha .

As my school report used to say ! "Can do better" Lol 😆

Anyway, lets get Run 3 out of the way next then on to the penultimate week that is week 8 ! 😁🏃‍♂️

Oh, wow that’s great news, well done and glad you like your new watch! 👏👏👏. Only now you’ve got ahead of me because I’m taking an extra rest day due to an aching hip.

No dramas is good news! That’s just what we like to hear 😀

You’ve definitely got this, now! Oh, and you’re wayyyy faster than me 😂 and I won’t be pushing it on my R2 until I know my hip is OK!

So do I! Just went on a slow walk to the village and grabbed a coffee. Really rested it yesterday and today. So frustrating and annoying, but I won’t run until I’m pain free - it’s improved today, see how I go!

Yes, got to be sensible about it but a few days if needed won't be a problem to you !

Nice one! I’ve read not to worry about distance yet, just make sure you keep going, you can then concentrate on picking the pace up! No drama Run is a win 👍🏻

Brilliant! I listen to Queen whilst running but what’s it like listening to one longer pieces rather than separate tracks? Good luck for run 3 🤞 I have run 2 tomorrow
