Week 5 Run 3

I just can't believe that I have run for a full 20 minutes without stopping. I can't believe how far I have come from a person who is a non runner, hated distance running at school. I was thinking of repeating doing the run again but after reading other people's comments I am going to TRUST THE PROGRAMME and go onto Week 6. Onwards and upwards!!

Well done! This makes me feel better about doing my 20 minute one on Sunday!! You can do it, this is a big milestone in the programme so if you can do that, you can do anything :)

You can do it trust me. I run at a snails pace but just kept on going. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Keep nice and steady for the next session, it catches many out.

Enjoy your journey.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Massive congratulations to you completing week 5 run 3, it’s such an accomplishment! 🥇😄If you approach runs 1 and 2 of week 6 with the same respect as you did for this run you’ll be absolutely fine. 👍Do not be fooled by the fact they’re interval runs! They’re still building your stamina remember. So slowly, slowly 🐢 and in the meantime enjoy your celebrations tonight! 😁🏃‍♀️💗

It's just THE best feeling ever! It's the moment you finally start to realise what you're really capable of, the moment you learn all those times you probably said "oh no, me? I couldn't run!" Or anything similar just wasn't true! You're starting to see what's really possible! Enjoy! 👍🏻👌🏻😁
