I've only gone and done it! I can not believe that I've just run for 20 minutes without stopping π I was over the moon until I looked at the time it took - it seems the longer I'm asked to run for, the slower my time gets. Anyone experience this?
Week 5 Run 3: I've only gone and done it! I can... - Couch to 5K
Week 5 Run 3
Don't be worrying about the distance you're running the time, very well done.
This run is a game changer and a massive boost to confidence as this is your 1st proper run and you've done it, from this point the gremlins slip away as from here on in it's just another couple of minutes to run
Once again very well done and it's onwards and upwards
Surely running for twenty minutes takes twenty minutes........roughly?
You did it. Worry not. Well done.
Ooooo, I have to congratulate you...this run I will never forget!!! It's a mental challenge though...not physical...this programme has built you up to this but your mind says it's a massive jump when actually, it's not....you are on the home run from now on...let us know how you're doing!!
Well Done!!! W5 run 3 is my next run, I'll be doing this tomorrow........ This is why I love this forum, it's full of people like me who have told themselves they can't then guess what????? They can!!!! This give others bags of confidence. Well done again..
Well done you. Congratulations!
Not really.. I just did the runs Ignorance is bliss, maybe I was always slow anyway.. the original Grey Snail!
You are doing wonderfully... just have faith in yourself and trust the programme
Yes I did but you will get quicker once graduated. Just concentrate on getting through the programme. The speed follow on podcast will help once you've finished couch to 5k. Good luck
Woo hoo I've just completed this run. With the exception of 15 seconds when I had to put my bobble back in I ran for 20 minutes!!!! I am so pleased. I'm recovering so much quicker after running too, week 1 I couldn't breathe for about 5 minutes when I got home. Today my breathing had already stabilised a couple of minutes into my warm down walk.
