Week 7 done after a shaky start

So happy - I just finished week 7! This time last week I had to abandon week 7 run 1 because I was tired, my legs ached and it was way too hot and humid. I did it again a couple of days later and just made it but was exhausted, but run 2 by contrast was one of the best runs I have done in the programme - I found my pace, managed to switch my brain off and was just in a flow, my legs didn’t ache and I even had the energy to go a bit faster at the end. I think starting off slower and regulating my breathing from the start really helped as did making sure I was really well hydrated. I have just come back from run 3, which went well and feel good. This time last week I doubted I would finish the programme but today I am determined I will.

Thanks so much for your supportive message. I start week 8 tomorrow and hope it is like my last run.

Great running and progress. All things in balance make for better runs... that slower pace at the start helps to keep it so. You got this.
