Thanks for all the great advice and support, I’ve iced and elevated on and off for 24 hours and this morning I had no pain until 28 minutes in (don’t get me wrong, if it was painful at the beginning I’d never have carried on). Still wasn’t too bad so pushed through and now I’m icing again. Reluctant to take pain killers as I’d rather know if I’m in pain rather than mask it but we’ll see.
Anyway, now the positive, ran for 30 mins, the rain actually pushed me into going out, how sad is that?! I actually LOVE running in the rain (as I sit here shivering while posting, rather than going for a shower!) - really was a good run, slightly slower than run 1 at 4.64 rather than 4.68 but at least I know it wasn’t a fluke now and I’m on my way to 5K. 🎉
If you haven’t run yet today, go - have a good one and most of all, stay positive! 💪🏼

Well done! It's so much nicer in the cooler weather isn't it ☺️ Hope the foot not feeling too bad - I've been wearing a compression/ bandage/ sock-thing on mine and it's really helped. 😊
Hi well done ! Have been thinking about you through the morning as my knee a little sore so it made me think of you! I’m so pleased you made it and a fab run as well 👏👏🤩🎉🎉 Now lots of TLC for you and finishing line here we come 🏁🤩🏃♀️🐌🤞🏻
Ah well done! I think the first 5 mins is all about setting your pace as if you go off too quickly you’ve had it. I’m finding it’s getting easier I have to say but obviously still have my moments and often find myself growling out loud ‘come on’!!! Yes, hope to complete Thursday too so fingers crossed for both of us, we’ve got this!!! 🎉
Wow, Busylady1, what a trouper! 😊Have to say, I’m not completely surprised! I’d put you forward for that SAS tv show any day. 😄👍Blimmen ‘eck and you’re flying too! Hope you’re icing as we speak and all is good. I know you’re determined to do your graduation run and then rest up, so wish you all the best! Will watch this space! 😊🏃♀️🐢
