Well I did it, first run in the rain, it was dark, cold and miserable out there this morning. I struggled to start with but got into a rhythm quite quickly, avoided one of the hills towards the end and that made a difference. 3.53km in 35m10s. I know the park paths like the back of my hands. Still disappointed with my weight loss, only 31/2 lbs. Not going to measure myself till the end. :-) :-)

Great going p184! I'm going to work out a route for r3 that is flattish! Sadly, our park is quite small with no paths so that's not an option for me! I don't mind the lanes around here when I'm out early before the traffic! I know what you mean about weight loss, although I've done a bit better than you, I've lost just over 1/2 stone! All the best for W9r3, we're nearly there!

I will use the same route for R3 may be Saturday but out for meal on Friday so depends on how much vino I have, it could be Sunday. Well done with your weight loss. :-) :-) Pat

Thanks Pat. Have a good night out. I was reading your daughter's blog yesterday! Lovely to both be on the C25K!

I knew you could do it Pat! And I know the weight loss is dissappointing, but one step at a time. Congrats, D.

Well done! You did it, even though it wasn't particularly enjoyable in the rain and gloom. You're nearly there! Don't beat yourself up about the weight loss, think of the improved fitness level and sense of achievement that you've gained in these 9 weeks. I've only lost 5 lbs altogether and one week I even put 2lbs on which was awful. And I bet your body shape has changed and you've lost inches. Good luck for tomorrow.

Fantastic Pat. :) We both have just one run to go now (on Sunday, for me). :D My weight loss has been very erratic, ranging from 4lbs in a week to nothing for weeks at a time. I really need to lose the weight, but I'm trying to be less focussed on that as I know it is decreasing month by month, even if it's slower than I'd like. I'm not going to stop running once I graduate, so I know I will get there eventually. You will too. :)

Hi there Legion, I am not massively overweight, I would have liked to have seen maybe a 5 or 6lb over the 9 weeks, but as Soozz said my body shape has changed. Good luck for Sunday, :-) Pat,
