So did my run this morning which is 25min but I only managed a distance of just over 3k which considering I'm not far off the end of the program I'm worried I'm running too slow but struggling to see my self running any faster at the minute anyone else have this issue or any tips?
Wk 6 run 3 : So did my run this morning which is... - Couch to 5K

Well done! but don't worry about running too slowly or distance, especially in the warm weather, just stick to the times.
Slow and steady is good and key to staying injury free while doing the programme, don't push it too much, only open the taps for about 30 secs at the end of the run if you want and see what you have left in the tank!😊
Distance can be put on the back burner for the moment just concentrate on following the programmed runs. You can never go too slowly doing C25k it is all about getting to the end without injury everything else can come after graduation. Go out relax and enjoy getting out there.
I'm in the same position as you! I have been steadily trying to increase my speed by very small increments!
Just focus on the time not the distance currently!
We will get there eventually
Everyone is capable of running at different speeds, otherwise we would all be finishing a marathon with the best of them - well done for running for 25 minutes! As everyone else has said, just ignore the distance you are running as this is something you can work on once you have graduated. Enjoy your remaining pre-grad runs.
Well done for getting to the end of W6 particularly in this heat.
You're doing fine, no need to worry about distance or speed that will come later. Just run at your own pace, keep slow so you're not tempted to stop. And don't forget to drink plenty of water.
Good luck and happy running!
You know this already, but C25K is not about running 5km. It's about running for 30 minutes. Most of us do not reach 5km in a 30 minute run at graduation. But you will soon be able to run 5km! You look about 20 in your profile picture, and so I'm sure that you'll graduate successfully, and then (before you know it) you'll be running 5km. But don't try and push yourself faster during these next 9 runs.
Slow and steady. 30 minutes. Speed / 5km can come later.
Thanks everyone gonna stick at it and feel better knowing it's okay to be slow, got my first 5k run in September so just want to be able to do an okay time 😊
Hi, I too worried about the time and distance I graduated a couple of weeks ago and still only managed about 3.5k in the 30 minutes, I'm slowly trying to go a bit further each day just taking a bit longer. Today I ran for 4.5k I've no idea how long it actually took. I think the important thing is you are out there doing something which is beneficial, well done keep going.
