I have completed week 4 run 3 today and I really had to push myself on the last 5 minutes. I'm overweight and very unfit so my pace is extremely slow but if I'm totally honest I can't believe I've even finished week 4, I struggled with 60 seconds only 4 weeks a go. I have just had a look at week 5 and I really can't see how I'm supposed to run for 20 minutes? Is this just an assumption that I'm fit or is it possible for someone Iike me to give it a go?
Week 5 Run 3 fears....I only went and did it..... - Couch to 5K
Week 5 Run 3 fears....I only went and did it...thank you for a your encouragement..20 mins running. I'm amazed at this plan
Absolutely give it a go, you’re ready for this, this plan has got you to this stage and has prepared you every step of the way, you’ll be great 💪🏻😊
It is absolutely possible. You aren't in a race so do what you've been doing go slow and try not to think about the whole run. Give yourself small goals...the next lamp post...the next tree and then set a new goal. Honestly, you're more equipped than you think. There's no right way to run this, there's just your way. You just said you can't believe you've done 4 weeks. When you complete this run its such a great feeling to know you really are a runner! We all have been there and we have faith you can do this. You just need to believe in you!! Happy running🤞🤞🏃🏃
You CAN Do it !
i did that run on Friday and believe me, you can do it , take your time , don't rush, you will find your rhythm and then just stay there .
This program has brought you to the point you need to be to complete that run.
and you WILL
and afterwards, you will not stop smiling all day !
go get it !
😊👍
Trust the plan and believe in the ability of your body to adapt and help you to achieve things you consider impossible.

Slow is good........you can do this.
This is brilliantly written for someone like me. Thanks so much. It makes perfect sense.
I’m 64, obese and I did it a few weeks ago. It was a real high and I felt a huge sense of achievement. If I can do it, anybody can. I’m doing W9R3 in the morning - who’d have thought it??!! Trust the programme. They know better than we do.
Wow well done, you must be so proud and elated. I know I will be. I think I might be becoming a couch to 5k bore 🤣🤣
