Graduation run is in the bag

I've just gone and completed the final run of the programme! Its taken longer than the 9 weeks but considering I've never been a runner its a huge achievement. Week 4 and 7 were the hardest for me, and I had to repeat some runs but it was all worth it in the end.

I ran 3.5k in the 30 minutes (๐ŸŒ) so next mission is to build my endurance to jog the whole 5k.

Am in the same boat. Third consolidation run tomorrow but nowhere near 5k yet. Just enjoying being able to run non-stop for 30 minutes right now. Let's see where this journey takes me.

Absolutely brilliant!! Well done๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰that's such a great achievement. Stay focused and take time to consolidate. Don't worry about the 5k at the minute just enjoy your running. I've never been into sport or running but this has really changed my outlook. I miss running if life gets in the way. Happy running Lincolnite๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ

Well done, gives me some hope, I am going out today for week 1 run 2, i couldn't even complete first run, just walked a lot of it but am taking notes from others on forum and going to go slower and smaller steps on run minutes and see how I do. For me who hasn't run for a bus in years this is going to be a real challenge so admire anyone like yourself who is also not a runner to keep up the motivation to complete the couch to 5k.

I was exactly the same, the first week took me 3 weeks in total to finally do the 3 runs. The main thing I kept telling myself was that I will carry on and keep doing it, even if it does take a bit longer.

I got a tip a couple of weeks back about watching Japanese slow running, and it helped so much with focusing on my form and I felt I could go further for longer. You've got this, I can't wait to see your journey!

Iโ€™ve also completed the 9 weeks but had to repeat the session many times. It feels good to have finished but did miss the encouragement. However, I still run for 30+ minutes every other day and always feel good afterwards. I must get a correct measurement so Iโ€™m am sure Iโ€™m running

5k each time. Have to confess the first 3 or 4 mins is the hardest and then you feel comfortable with the rest of the run.
