Massively proud of myself for achieving 20min non stop running. This forum has been amazing , reading all the posts from other people surprising themselves at this stage convinced me that I could do it too!
Iβve never run before, am not sporty , 4.5 stone overweight and asthmatic (well controlled). But I did it! π
my breathing was fine right the way through & at no point (except at the end!) did I feel I needed to stop. My legs did start to feel a little tired in the last few mins, but Iβd expected that & just kept going
Onwards to w6 ! Good luck everyone πππ

Ooooh yessss! Fantastic achievement! Congratulations and well done. Such a great feeling to have smashed this milestone run. You are a star! Now you can see Week 6 lurking on the horizon and you can go out to meet it full of confidence.
This forum is amazing; there is so much support here and we have a ready family of runners, many of them new runners, who will not only celebrate our achievements with us, but give us a boost when things donβt quite go according to plan.
Today you are on a high and you can revel in your glory! ππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran ππΎ π
Thank you - yes Iβve read on here how w6 r1 catches people out . I have an extra rest day to mentally prepare self for it - always give myself the weekend off! π
