I did it! I run for 20' non-stop! well, jog...who's counting...I am!
I managed to pace myself by trying to speak while jogging and controlling my muscles.
My legs can go a bit tense when I'm trying to slow down, I'm sort of having to focus on that muscle and relax it. Anyone else experiences something similar?
I finished with enough energy to finish the run and do a little happy dance.
I did it and all with a facemask on!
I love this programme, it should be one like this but for reading. I'm not a great reader.
Thanks for the support!

You deserve a πΊ trumpet fanfare, the same fanfare you hear at the opening of Parliament ππΎπ
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran, you will get more πΊ trumpet fanfares once you have completed run 3 of week 6 and especially run 3 of week 9 when you graduate.
After the 20 minute run of run 3 of week 5 many runners don't like going back to running and walking, but if you take the first two runs of week 6 especially slowly you will be π
It is a bit technical for me to say exactly why many runners find runs 1 and 2 of week 6 hard after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3, personally I found those two run OK, perhaps the reason for that was that I ran them slowly, it's the muscles in some runners leg's get stiff again having to go back to interval walks and runs after running continuously for 20 minutes, one of the administrators IannodaTruffe might be able to tell you in more detail the reasons why some runners find run 1 of week 6 hard.
Week 6 Runs 1 and 2 are about extending the overall duration without increasing the running time. They prepare you for running that extra 5 minutes at the end of the week.
It will be!! You can definitely do it. Keep a steady pace, speak to yourself sometimes to check that you arent going to fast. If you can't speak you are going to fast!
Whoop whoop! Well done! And that pace is amazing! Iβm 9.30 and week 7 day after tomo x
