Completed week 2, run 2 today. I felt better than week 2 run 1 thank god! Legs still felt heavy, does that feeling ever go away? π
W2 R2: Completed week 2, run 2 today. I felt... - Couch to 5K
W2 R2

Well done.
Heavy legs can be symptomatic of poor hydration. As a runner you need to drink a minimum of 2.5 -3 litres of fluid each and every day, running or not, as mentioned in the guide.

Yeyyy - great effort considering the heat!
Youβre on your way! Well done! π
Just stay hydrated ... especially in this weather ...
best of luck
That is so encouraging to hear! I just did wk2 run1 tonight I did not go out till 10pm to avoid the sun and and possibly a bit of procrastination! I found tonight really tough and was dreading the next one, so glad to hear you found it easier π. Fingers crossed it will be the same for me too ππ€

Well done! I went out first thing around 7.30am but whilst I managed to finish it didn't go as well as W2 R1. I had very little sleep the night before and was in a rush. I just couldn't feel the rhythem and felt footfall was all over the place. Plus a lot of people were out so had to keep maneuvering to avoid them which messed up flow. I went back over the slow jogging videos on youtube and am determined to keep stride at baby steps which is where I know I keep going wrong.
Have you check out next weeks target? It just seems crazy going from 90 sec this week to 3mins straight next week? Dreading it.
Oh no way! 3 mins running π© i think when the time comes i will try the 1st run and if its too much i will do week 2 again. 90 seconds feels plenty so 3 mins will be a killer! Glad you managed the second run for this week. I have come to the conclusion that just finishing it is enough ππ
