I had got to week 7 of the runs, and then had surgery and was told not to run for 6 weeks. My stitches have only just healed and starting to get back to normal...
My question is, what week should I start back on? I know I won’t be able to go straight in to the 25 minute runs again. Should I Start from week 1? Or jump in half way?
Any advice from anyone who’s had to have a break similar would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Some people jump in at week 3 or 4, I'd say start with week 1. If it's really easy, next run can be week 2, and so on. Of course I don't know what you've had done and how well recovered you feel. But stop immediately if anything doesn't feel right.
Good to see you ready to go again. I’d take a different approach that’s worked for me and plenty of others here. Go for a nice, relaxed, gentle run with no expectations. Set an alarm just in case you make it to 25 minutes though. Track the run... and see how much you can do comfortably... from that it’ll be easier to see where to drop back onto the plan. Stop on any pain of course... but otherwise, have fun out there.
