4K along the prom, wasn’t fancying it today, body was still feeling that first 5K. But I was adamant I was getting out today cause there’s no way I’m running on the next two days at 30 bloody degrees 😂

Well hello my friend and welcome to the other side 😁 Well done for getting out there when you weren't fancying it, hopefully your lovely route made it feel worthwhile!

Hey you ☺️ I was gonna try 5K again, but after about 1.5K I felt the back of my knee tighten so I thought better of it and just did 4 instead 😊

Good plan.the great thing is now you can tailor the runs to exactly how you need them, as long as you keep on running 😀

I think it’s a good idea to mix up length of runs, some short some long. 😀

You are very right - I just tried and made 25 minutes which I am really pleased with considering the heat (& it's only 8-8.30am!).

Hopefully Friday I will be back running for 30 minutes plus!

It’s totally normal for days like that. I did my third consolidation yesterday and my body just wasn’t feeling it. I pushed on but it was a struggle But don’t be hard on yourself. You are getting out there and doing amazing.

Well done. What a great place to run 🏃‍♀️. I don’t like the heat so won’t be going out for the next few days. Up and out this morning after 6 and it was nigh on 20 degrees then so only did short run too.

Hello Dtay, another Prom runner here from Southsea. Enjoy those consolidation runs without any pressure to achieve. Try different routes and even an incline if you can find one there and perhaps join the consolidation club if you haven’t already.
