Well done Piper5k, I agree it's not easy, but it can be done at your own individual pace and it's worth doing it. Keep at it 👍

Hi, that's brilliant, keep it up fellow runner, stats are good with time ,the app is fab, just follow the app and you will be fine.

The program is 30min running/jogging non stop or 5k non stop, the tips on the healthunlock advises loads of guidance. 🏃‍♂️

Great job. If it was easy we’d be trampled by a stampede of runners every time we left the house. 2 runs to that podium, then you get to take a break from the relentless progression with some relaxed consolidation running.

Almost there! 😃

Well done for completing run 1, 2 more left! 🥳

Same for me today - definitely not easy. I didn’t reach the 5K in the 30 minutes. Which app do you use for time and distance?

Just strava on my phone.

Hi, do you just track the runs (not the 5 mins before and after)

Thanks

Don’t worry if strava stats tell you, you’ve ran short of the 30 mins. Just go my what the podcast/app tells you.

No it's not easy, but you did it! So you can do it again, nearly there. 💪

So close to the finish now! Well done. I am a week behind you, I’ll be starting my week nine when you are well into your consolidation runs! Just think how amazing you will feel then!

Congratulations on W9R1.

Take you tome - slowly- slowly catch your target .

You can choose 30 minutes non-stop jogging or 5K.

The key is slow - you will achieve what you decide to do. The rest comes along after you have graduated and continue to enjoy your jogging / running .

The weather, if it’s hot, can SAP your energy from you.

I go out at 6:30am , otherwise I couldn’t go out, I cannot jog/ run in hot weather . The cooler the better for me and if it rain its perfect.

I use a small scarf dipped in water and frozen , this helps. A bit chilly when you first put it on but O’my it helps. You will make it - so here’s congratulations in advance as we cheer you on along the way and across the magic line. .

There’s lots of us here , so it will be loud :)🐾

Aww 🥰 thank you what a lovely post.

I’m kind of looking forward to running when it’s not as warm.

I’m sure I’ll regret saying that 🙈

One to go!

Completed run 2 wk 9. Run 1 was really tough but run 2 run turned out to be much easier. In fact I continued on to complete 4k in 32 min. Still a long way to 5k but for the first time it looks possible!

Keep at it Piper5k as each time endurance and strength improves a little bit.

Well done you.

My plan was to complete r2 on Wednesday however that never happened had to prioritise oldest child deadline for homework. Then last night my hubby got held on at work. Hopefully today fingers crossed 🤞
