Just got back from my 1st run/walk of week 2. Wow i found that hard! Probably not the best time to have gone as i have been out all day since 6am and probably not eaten enough to have ran when i did but it was either go tonight or not get my 1st run of the week in until Wednesday! Still, i managed it even though i felt like i needed to give up the whole time π I even ended up walking an extra 5 minutes as i didn't finish close enough to home. Hoping run 2 will be easier on wednesday ππββοΈ

Did you go real slow at the start? It's pretty muggy out there which probably didn't help. I focused on running slower than my brisk walk! Then focussing on deep breathing during the walking phase. Well done for not giving up and pushing through tho! Hopefully get out early on Wednesday, if possible, and slow everything down.
Good on you for completing!
Well done!πI struggled so much with week 2 for some reason! I think it was all down to my pace, I was absolutely awful at trying to slow it down and keep it steady! Iβd start off way too fast and would be exhausted before the halfway bell even rangπOnce I mastered slowing it down everything seemed so much more easier and week 3 felt like a breeze compared to week 2!π
This is so good to hear because the whole way round tonight i was thinking how will i ever do more when this feels so hard! Its nice to know it is possible. Today felt like a real effort! Maybe i need to slow it down even more π
Have you already been told to watch the Japanese Slow Running YouTube video? If so, apologies, if not please do, itβs a game changer! πIβm on week 8, run 3 and this technique has made it all possible and so much more enjoyable! ππββοΈπ’
Someone did share it but i haven't gotten round to watching it! I will watch it now. Thank you for reminding me! π and wow! Week 8! Well done!
Well done - you still got out there and did it!... even tho been up since 6am!.... give yourself a pat on the back!..... so hard sometimes to give yourself the push ....but you did!
Thank you!!! This forum helps so much with motivation and helping me feel positive even after i feel like i killed myself the whole way around ππ
It sure does- I can honestly say i always make the effort to post a reply to someone, especially when i read its been tough for them... I know how that feels and i know how much i get from people on here - messages are just the motivation and support needed... and you really have had a long day!....but more importantly i know you would feel disappointed had you not gone... but just look how fab you feel now you did it!
