Completed Week 2 Run 1 today. Found it pretty tough to be honest. It doesn't sound like much - upping your running time by 30 seconds - but my goodness I felt the difference!! Very nearly stopped running once or twice, but made myself push on through and managed to complete it. Probably didn't help that's it's pretty warm here today too. I even got up early so I could get out at 8.30am (I work evenings so that is early for me!!π) before it got really hot!! Glad I didn't leave it any later!
W2 R2 I'm coming for ya!

Well done you. Might be 30 seconds but that is a 50% increase on last week. So another big step forward and you nailed it and didn't stop. You'll be fine as you sound very determined. Keep singing and running.
Good on you for completing that one pushing through when you want to stop is good you will need that on the later runs I am sure you will tackle R2 with the same style
Well done Laura! You'll find it gradually gets easier as the weeks go by and soon you'll be amazed at what you can achieve in such a small amount of time.
Well done! I know how energy sapping the heat can be. I try to do one run each week very early to avoid it and it does pay off. Each week builds from the one before, each week I start by feeling I can't do it, each week I have found that I could. Just keep on at it, let your confidence grow and you'll smash it πππ
You kept on going, that makes you a Runner in my book βΊ Slow and steady is what builds up stamina , and once you go out the front door there are only "practice' days and "success" days. There are no "fail" days π well done on a tough run βΊ
The last run I did (w9r1) I actually thought a lot about the week 2 run, I remember begging for those runs to be over and watching the clock, playing little games to keep going, so much has changed. Now week 9, i don't need my games until I hit the 25 minute mark. Keep it up, it really does get easier! π
Well done for pushing through π€ In a few weeks you will look back at this post and be amazed at how far you have travelled until then relax, follow the programme and enjoy π Keep on running π π
