Thought I’d have a look around and have ended up signing up to the community.
I’ve just started week 4 of running, though have ‘re-taken‘ week 1 of the app three times before I could complete it properly.
Started at 101.6kg and as of this morning down to 98.4kg, so happy with progress.
Be nice to hear from anyone else who was a tad embarrassed by not being able to do week 1 the first time.....

Today I’ve just finished week 1, having tomorrow off then I’m going to start week 2, I’m a bit apprehensive about it as before last week I couldn’t walk around the block without huffing and puffing! Good luck with week 2 and I hope succeed
I done 6 runs in total for week 1 and 2 so don't worry - I was slightly embarrassed definitely but I found it was worth it in the end as it helped me build the stamina that I needed for the next weeks 😌
I repeated week 1 at least once and the same for weeks 2, 3 and 4. I was enjoying it but finding it hard so repeated eac h of those weeks until I felt happy to move on to the next one. Oddly, and I have no idea why, since the beginning of week 5, I haven't repeated any of the weeks, I've managed each week without too many nightmares and I've just got the final two runs of week 9 to go - hoping to do one of those late tonight when I get in from work and when it might have cooled down a bit. I know that everyone here is very encouraging about moving on from one week to the next without repeats but I couldn't do that in the early weeks and I'm really glad I repeated the first three weeks, I'm sure I would have given up if I hadn't done that. You shouldn't feel embarassed, you should be proud of yourself. You'll get there, you just might have a slightly longer journey than some.
