Heavy legs on my run this morning but I slowed it down to a barely running pace and got through it. I found the first half harder than the second half as when the heart rate is up and the blood flowing it starts to feel better and I find myself really feeling good. It's all part of the journey I guess and I finished it without stopping which is the main thing. I want to focus on building stamina and the faster pace can come later.

Well done.
Heavy legs can be symptomatic of poor hydration. As a runner you need to drink a minimum of 2.5 -3 litres of fluid each and every day, running or not, as mentioned in the guide.
