Sorry I don't know how to link it but go and read round the slow jogging, Don't start too fast, conversational pace, any faster I found my form was off, this causes all sorts of problems.

I started too fast and didn't focus on running well and am having to take a bit of a rest.

Starting off slow and steady will help making it feel achievable and you will enjoy it I promise I love it

This forum helps....lots of great advice and motivation for when yours is lagging

Good luck

Thanks I’ll keep that in mind when I start. Any advice is welcome.

Slow = I feel I could do this a long time. An not getting winded at all

Another definition of slow enough: literally, have a conversation while running (call a friend is best, imo).

Go out early in the morning when it’s cooler. As the others say jog really slowly don’t run, I carry a small water bottle that is shaped so you can grip it in your hand, but that’s up to you, take nice deep breath in and exhale slowly as you jog. Get a good music playlist to listen to, songs that motivate you, with a good beat, you can start your music, before you start the C25K app, the music fades when your trainer speaks to you.....hope this helps Good Luck 👍

Thanks for the advice. I’ve already made a playlist to motivate me just hope it works.

Set your own pace and believe in yourself and the plan! There’s been days when I thought I couldn’t do it but I did! X

Thanks I’m sure I’ll have days when I question whether I can manage it or not. I’ll just have to get into the right mindset x

My advice is as above plus take it as it comes don't put any expectations on the first go and remember every name you see on this forum had to do what you're doing tomorrow and that's ...start! You're already succeeding by downloading the app and joining this forum. You'll find lots of advice and a fantastic group of cheerleaders. We're all here for you and ready to celebrate each milestone 👍. Got for it and be kind to yourself whatever happens 🏃🏃🏃

Thank you for the advice. It’s taken me a while to take the first step so the advice from everyone is greatly appreciated.
