Last run of week 2 yesterday. The sun was out, lovely breeze and a smile on my face. Had a good run although the dreaded back ache that you all warned of made it’s presence felt. It’s to be expected when you learn a new sport, so I will suck it up. All in all though, still amazed at my crap lungs. Keep going fellas!

Huge well done, but not sure what the back ache you mention is ?

We do get odd aches when we first star this, using new muscles etc. but not real pain...?

Make sure you warm up really well and do make sure too, that you do those post run stretches... :)

There are some great exercises linked in the FAQ post for Newbies which you will have read.. and lots of useful info'

and some back exercises too, if you feel the need , here:)

Well done Hally1973 onwards and upwards to Wk3, crap lungs will get less crappy as your journey continues and they’ll both thank you for it in the end 👍 😂
