Wk 2 Completed - ouch, ouch...

So cold today and my legs are feeling it (tops of thighs and knees). I didn't enjoy my previous run, but enjoyed today. My friend and I took a different route, part of which was on softer ground rather than tarmac and it made a big difference. I may have to do week two again this week. Not sure my legs are ready for week 3 yet! Still enjoying running immensely, however.

Well done! I'm at the exact same point as you! Think I'll also struggle with W3, but I'm going to give it a go on Tuesday and if I can do it, great! If not, one more week of W2 will do no harm! :)

Well done winchestergirl. Just finished week 3 and the 3 min part does take the wind out of your sails. No worries thou just progress when YOU are ready it's not a race and we don't want injuries after all

Thank you. My legs aren't as bad today so I may try a Wk3 session this week with a couple of Wk2 sessions. I'll report back next Sunday!

Just starting week 2. Did the first one on Friday night (what an exciting life I lead!!!) and then today I did two of the week two's back to back. The second set of runs did for me, but felt good about it. Go at your own pace. ;-)

It was definitely the second Wk2 one I noticed, but weirdly the third not so much. I ache less today so I'll maybe try one Wk3 this week.

If you are enjoying it then that's brilliant! Make sure your muscles are warmed up before you start to run and that you stretch afterwards. And run very slowly! Well done.

Thank you. I am trying to spend longer on my stretches and my legs do feel better today.

Hi, my name's a bit misleading! I'm a fan of the tv show 'Supernatural' so my name is a bit of a fan reference to the Winchester Bros. I might try one Wk3 session and see how I go. My legs feel achey, but nothing like they did yesterday!
