First 5k

So pleased to be able to say I completed my first 5k today!!! Managed it in 37 mins 11 seconds. Thanks C25k and HealthUnlocked community 😘

It took me a lot, lot longer than the planned nine weeks but I am so chuffed.

I graduated a few weeks back and had been consolidating-ish by running for 30 mins twice per week, then once a week extending one of the runs by a minute or two

Congratulations on running your first 5K, good time as well, nice to get a sub 40 minute 5K at 37.11, it won't be long before you can get a sub 35 minute 5K but there is no hurry for that. 😊 🏃🏾

Thanks! I'm really pleased - anything sub-40 was my original goal, but doing it in under 38 mins made my week!
