First 5K!!!

So after a long journey ive come to W9R3 this week and today was my first graduate run - finally ran 5K BUT it took me about 45 minutes :( my pace is really slow and i dont know how should i keep training from here - focus on distance or better pace? Any advice?

Its up to you where your running takes you now. Run for 30 mins til it becomes a bit easier. Do some shorter runs and some longer ones getting to the 5k mark. C25K + Podcasts are available for graduates to try new things...

It took me 47 minutes to run the 5k, I may be slow but I did it, and better still enjoyed it.
