Week 5 Run 1

Ok. That went surprisingly well. The first two 5 minute runs were, to say the least, enjoyable. The daunting two 8 minute runs on run 2 now look very achievable. Still had to push for the final couple of minutes of the third 5 minute run but there was still some left in the tank. Roll on Friday!

Yes! Well done. All sounds positive, I’ll be following in your footsteps on Sunday, hopefully. Encouraged to hear it went well! I have W4 R3 to do tomorrow, but I’ve done it twice before so should be fine. If we push on and trust the program, we will be ok!

Week 3 was my toughest. By Week 4 I’d nailed my technique and speed. I enjoyed Week 4 and, thankfully, it’s continued in to this Week. I know you’ll nail the run tomorrow!

Thanks! Week 1 was my toughest. I lack the ability to analyse technique and speed. I have no idea about either, other than I try to run slowly and not bob about too much. I’ve started to record stats on my Fitbit Alta, and am going to start just logging when I run. Although the watch and app are probably not ideal, they give me an idea and it’s neat to see a little map of my runs! (it’s the little things in life 😀)

That’s great to hear. After each of the 5 minute runs today I knew I had more in my legs, so I am confident. Just hope it is not over confidence!
