Ok. That went surprisingly well. The first two 5 minute runs were, to say the least, enjoyable. The daunting two 8 minute runs on run 2 now look very achievable. Still had to push for the final couple of minutes of the third 5 minute run but there was still some left in the tank. Roll on Friday!

Week 5 Run 1
Yes! Well done. All sounds positive, I’ll be following in your footsteps on Sunday, hopefully. Encouraged to hear it went well! I have W4 R3 to do tomorrow, but I’ve done it twice before so should be fine. If we push on and trust the program, we will be ok!
Week 3 was my toughest. By Week 4 I’d nailed my technique and speed. I enjoyed Week 4 and, thankfully, it’s continued in to this Week. I know you’ll nail the run tomorrow!
Thanks! Week 1 was my toughest. I lack the ability to analyse technique and speed. I have no idea about either, other than I try to run slowly and not bob about too much. I’ve started to record stats on my Fitbit Alta, and am going to start just logging when I run. Although the watch and app are probably not ideal, they give me an idea and it’s neat to see a little map of my runs! (it’s the little things in life 😀)
I did run 2 this morning dont worry about the 8 mins I found them surprisingly good 😀
You will nail the 8 minutes... they seriously aren’t bad at all - well done Mister!👏👏
I’m one ahead ... the dreaded mountain that is W5R3 and I’ve read all the positive comments on here and the ‘week 5 myths busted’ and it all makes sense...
20 mins constant running is achievable!..
eeek! Will let you know 👍
