W6R1 - Struggled a bit today

Today was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be, I have just gone back to work so I'm not used to being on my feet as much, and I had done a leg workout the day before so safe to say my legs were NOT feeling it today!

Now I'm back at work, I'm trying to hydrate as much as I physically can so I don't think that was the issue, but I was going faster than I thought I was, which most likely tired me out more than usual. I managed it because I knew I could do it, and about 50% of my struggle was mental too, but I knew I was going too fast when I saw my heart rate was super high at the end!

If I hadn't have done my leg workout yesterday and slowed down, then it probably wouldn't have been too bad, especially as my muscles were crying a bit when I decided to try a slight incline on some grass on my usual route instead of going along the seafront πŸ˜‚

Oh well, onwards and upwards!

You did it! Well done :)

This run often catches folks out because you are back to intervals, but still moving for longer time. So now you are ready for 6:2 :)

Thank you, it definitely felt like the longest one I've done, especially near the end πŸ˜‚

I feel these are the runs that help us evolve into runners, when things don’t go according to plan we push on and get it done anyway. Well done for persevering 😊
