Last week I was on week 8 of c25k, my weeks are a bit wonky so I was on my last run of the week on Monday.
I had an absolutely great run on Monday, the app accidentally paused which meant I ended up running 34 minutes non stop which was a bloody shock to the system. When my Runkeeper said I’d done 5k I thought it had gone mad!!!
Anyway, I then went out for my third run and it was a disaster. I didn’t even make it to 10 minutes. I stopped after 5 tried to restart and ended up giving up and walking home.
My running seems to be so linked with my mental health, but running helps my mental health! My disaster run really knocked my confidence and I got too scared to go out again - silly I know.
Has anyone else accidentally had a week off? Any tips for getting out again?
I’m determined to go out again this evening and I know I will I’m just scared I’ll stop at 10 minutes again!

Hey Dolphin-Girl and Hidden . I went out! Only managed 20 minutes without stopping but also tagged on maybe another 4 mins after that. Feeling much more confident about bringing it back to 28 on Wednesday now. I’m going to repeat week 8 and see where I’m at at the end of the week. Thanks for your help and support
