Can’t believe it week 9 has arrived - Where has the time gone? So completed wk9 r1 today, some days I complete 5k in 30 min but other days I don’t. But hey I run for 30min non stop, I can’t complain. Just out of interest does anyone else struggling to complete the 5k in 30min? Is it just a matter of time and practice?
Week 9 - unbelievable : Can’t believe it week... - Couch to 5K
Week 9 - unbelievable
I’ve never managed to complete 5k! I’m not bothered either YET!
I graduated at the beginning of June, did my 3rd consolidation run today and did 4K in 33 mins. I will get to 5k, and each week I will go a bit further until I reach 5k, only then will I concentrate on getting the time down.
When I started C25K I wanted to be able to run 5k, but in a time which is comfortable for me, and I will get there one day.
Well done!! 😁
I completed C25K two years ago and still can’t run 5k in 30 minutes. There’s probably more than can’t than can too. Maybe it will just happen one day, but I really don’t mind if it doesn’t.
Happy running! Enjoy!! ❤️
Hey girl.... I remember us graduating last time together 2 years ago. I just thought I’d give it a go and see. Didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I have but hey I got the running bug again. Let’s see if I can keep this up this time, need to put myself first for once. Hope you well x
Yahoo!!! I've not yet done 30 minutes but doubt I'll do 5k...
Only a small proportion of graduates from this forum who responded to a poll, managed 5k in 30 minutes by graduation healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
Graduation requirements are that you complete three thirty minute runs, regardless of distance.
Hi Peet, wow you're doing well. Two years after starting C25K I still haven't managed 5km in 30 mins. I suspect most of us don't. It's my goal to do a sub 30' 5km. You're in the top percentage of C25Kers if you're doing it already.
