Just thought I would check in again, I just competed W3 R1 this morning and I felt great, progress has definitely been made. How did everyone else feel at this stage?
Week 3 Run 1: Just thought I would check in... - Couch to 5K
Week 3 Run 1
I did week 3 run 2 yesterday, and definitely feel an improvement in this week , looking forward to the longer runs now !
Glad you enjoyed your run today, week 3 is the shortest workout of C25K, the runs start to get a little longer but you will manage the longer runs without any problems whatsoever, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 3
I finished week 3 yesterday and definitely noticed improvements
Hi,
Well done. I’m on run 3 week 2. Did you get leg pain at any point in week 2? if so did you run if it was slight and just a bit achy?
I am just about to go out and so R1W8
This programme is totally addictive!!
I never in my live thought I would 1. Love running and 2. Be able to run 25 minutes non stop
Keep going the rewards of self pride are so worth it !

It is very addictive, I have run in all weathers so far and I look forward to the next one.
Not long to go for you now, which week did you find the hardest?
I'm glad your post was positive as I'm sweating over W2 R3 tomorrow and made the mistake of looking ahead to the session after tomorrow! I really don't know if I can do 3min straight run. I really struggle towards the end of my runs when I'm praying for the voice of Joe Whiley to tell me its all over!
Any tips on how you did it would be much appreciated.
Firstly thank you for replying, I have just finished W5 R2 and that’s running for 8mins x2 which if you had asked me 5 weeks ago I would of said no chance! But I am here feeling great my fitness level an recovery levels have improved massively, I use Jo Whiley and she inspires me probably but I have had a secret crush on her for years😀
My advice is go at your own pace and always try to finish each run just as Jo says, be positive and try to get your breathing rhythm going and on your walks lots of deep breaths.
