I've just completed run 3 of week 5 - I can't believe I did it without stopping. I am so pleased. I never ever thought I would be able to run for 1 minute let alone 20 minutes when I started C25K!
I live in the country and I ran along the side of two fields, along the way I saw 6 hares, 4 pheasants and two horses - I think they helped distract me from how much more time I had to run! Feeling fab now. ๐

I am back again and just completed week 5 run 3. How I went from 3 to 20 I have no idea. Running slowly, very slowly was the key I think so not really sure it could be classed as running but I think I covered about a mile and three quarters with the 5 min intro walk so not great in terms of distance. If there was a steps per minute threshold I would fail that one. I wasn't walking but I wasn't running either. I think I have invented a new sport Trot 2 5K. Maybe I can move up to a canter in week 6
