Week 5 in the bag - and confidence improving all the time

As with so many other people on this site, it is an incredible feeling to have run for 20 minutes; 5 weeks ago it was just a far-off dream. I only started telling people last week that I was doing C25K, in case I gave up. I can feel the health benefits already, physically my legs feel stronger, and the programme is giving a much-needed structure to life in these crazy times. I find I’m enjoying the runs despite the challenge, enjoying the sense of achievement, and really value finding ideas and support on this site 😊

It’s been fine thanks! As everyone says, trust the programme and keep going! I can’t believe how far I’ve come, taking it run by run. The last few minutes of the 20 minute run were challenging but I think that’s what the programme does - takes you to what you can do, then a little bit more to build capability. Truly amazing! I hope you are now able to carry on. 😀
