First post graduation run

I used the NHS Laura Stepping Stones finishing on 160 bpm pace and quite liked the fact that someone else remained responsible for my progress! I'm quite impatient and I think left to my own devices I would try to push too much and get frustrated so will keep going with the good old NHS apps

Well done and I haven’t heard of the stepping stones 🤷‍♀️ Sounds a good idea though as it does feel a bit odd to be suddenly out on your own.

Because I used the Laura voice over before it feels like a comforting natural extension of what I've just done. If you go back to the NHS couch to 5 k page you'll find post week 9 options including Stepping Stones. The pace goes from 150 a minute to 160 in 5 min blocks so you still feel as though you are progressing but you don't have to work it out for yourself!

Hmmmmm well I’m looking and can’t find this stepping stones but I’ll keep trying

Sometimes I think things aren’t easy to find on here and I don’t think it’s just me 🤗

Not on this site as fat as i know. You need to go to nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/c... and you should be able to find it there

Yes, I am planning to stick with Laura post graduation otherwise I might drop back into my lazy ways.

It was my first post grad run and I also used stepping stones - went faster & further than any wk9 run although a bit achy 😀.

Am going to stick with that for a few weeks and then try and find something else to follow
