I never in a million years thought it was possible for me to do this, but I have!! A week longer than anticipated due to a Knee injury but nevertheless I made it!! Yes, I'm blowing my own Trumpet but I feel i deserve it. Not quite doing the 5k in 30 mins but I intend to get there.
Thankyou one and all for the encouragement, if I can do it YOU ALL CAN!!! πππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

Congratulations! You are an inspiration to me. I'm not overweight (any more) but I am 63 and had never really run before. I was only on week 2 when I injured my knee (and it's going to take more than a week to recover) but you give me hope that it's possible. Thank you!
You can do it!! I have always hated running, used to walk X Country route at school and scoff at joggers when I saw them!! Just got to 60, weight went up to 22.5 stone, no clothes fitted and decided to do something about it. Joined Slimming World and started swimming Mon to Fri. When pools closed I was at a loss and decided to give this a go. Never thought I would last but I did!! Give that knee a rest, go out on a bike to give it a bit of exercise and go back to it. Keep me informed and Good Luck. πππββοΈπββοΈ
