So after the struggle of my first 5 min run in the program 9 weeks ago I never in a million years thought I would reach the end! But this morning I graduated!πΎIβm not yet at 5km but so happy to be running a solid 30 mins without stopping! My plan is to just keep running for 30 mins and build on speed and pace. Any suggestions from people that have also graduated or programs to follow ( this program was brilliant!) would be appreciated.

Congratulations! Celebrate well. Your plan looks good to me... some 30 minute runs are good right now... relax for a few and consolidate with some nice comfortably paced runs. We have a chat called consolidation club in the pinned posts for new graduates, where youβll get support and specific advice as you come off plan. Speed/pace and endurance are very closely related... the best way to get faster over 5k is plenty of relaxed running and taking your endurance further with some more duration. Over on the Bridge to 10k forum we have a tried and tested (by hundreds of graduates) plan that can get you to 60 minutes of running... this will get you to that 5k, and then further. It also introduces varying the runs up. Enjoy this time and all your future running adventures
