Hydration sachets???

So, I plan on being rather ‘sociable’ this weekend but I don’t want this to effect my Monday run. Although I fully intend to drink lots of water, I was going to have a rehydration drink on Monday morning to give me a little help.

Has anyone else used them to give them for sports or is it busy just to use them after illness?

Personally, I’d leave the run until Tuesday . Its ok to take 2 rest days.

I've used various ones favourite for flavour is high5 tabs in a bottle of water. I use them every pre run to be fair I know alot of friends the swear by them after being "sociable" if in doubt rest it out

Shouldn’t you use them post run, or during, not pre?

It depends on which brands you use sis hydro are generally for before your run 1 - 2 tabs on the lead up to runs. High 5 are are for before during and after depending on your runs. There vitamins light carbs and electrolytes so there good for hydrating in general if its really hot I have one leading up to a run to store up on electrolytes pre run and one made up to replenish when I've finished. Post run drinks tend to be more protein based some also containing electrolytes

This is all super helpful! I'd been wondering about the same as well so thanks for the advice.

Pleasure. Out of all of them I prefer high 5 for flavour ive tried multiple brands and they seem to cover more angles. Just beware of the caffeine ones they powerful haha. They do a sample pack for your discipline eg run cycle etc worth a try if your intrigued.
