Did this run today, four days late !! I’ve been putting it off because of the heat but made myself go today and I’m glad I did as I felt better having faced up to it. The run was ok and I think I’m getting better at the mental side of it. I didn’t have that voice in my head saying I wanted to stop. I wasn’t exactly happy but there was nothing telling me I needed to stop so that’s an improvement. I even managed a 14 minute mile so that’s also an achievement. Counting today as progress !

Well done Dorothy, that's definitely progress. I leave longer between runs too, my joints don't bounce back quickly so I'm kind to them 😊

Thank you ! Yes, I’m beginning to notice my knees complaining slightly so maybe extra rest days are no bad thing !
