Sore knee

I have just finished week 7, run 2. But last week my knee started to feel a bit sore when I went for a run. I have bought new trainers, this is helping but still feels a bit tingly at the start of my run.

I have been running slower as I’m worried that I’m going to land on it awkwardly and hurt myself. I have also started doing strengthening exercises over the last few days.

Is there anything else I should be doing or will it just take time? It’s not swollen or anything. I just want to make sure I’m doing everything I should be to prevent injury.

The guide to the plan has advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
