Week 5 run 1 complete (newbie)

I have started couch to 5k during lock down, as my normal walking to the train and then work had halted due to working from home. It has been challenging but addictive. I find myself mentally preparing for the next run, especially as week 5 each run is different.

Welcome to the forums... it’s never too late to have a read of the guide to the plan, I still read it from time to time healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

I love reading that you’re planning that next run... back when I was running C25K I was too busy thinking about the last one! As you progress, preparation becomes more and more important... you’re ahead of the game (well, compared to me at least 🤣)

You’re doing great... week 5 is the best week... have fun with the rest of it.

Nice work! I did exactly the same thing as you. Lock down, work from home = no commute time = time to get fit. I want to make it a new habit. I'm only a little ahead of you having just completed Week 6 run 3.

Week 6 Run 3 for me on Monday and although challenging I’m loving it. Am planning to progress to do a 10k Charity run later in the year social distancing permitting

Well done! You’re well on the way to the full 30minutes. Like you, I needed a goal during lockdown. I’ve just completed W9R3 so have just managed it before things ease a little tomorrow.
