Almost without exception people have a grotty run somewhere in weeks 7-9. This shows us that grotty runs happen. We can look at reasons - just now in the UK it might be that it was hot and we were underhydrated or viral control reasons meant we took a different route (or the same route when we needed some variety), but also it is about learning to 'be with' those experiences and not necessarily read too much into them.

If you sustained a running motion, however slowly, however horrible it felt (injury aside of course) in all 3 sessions, you are ready for Week 8. Re-doing Week 7 won't do you any harm, it's all running, it's all developing that habit of getting out there... but it can't do you as much good as doing Week 8.

Totally with you - some runs will be good some not so - it’s all running experience 🏃🏽🏃🏼‍♀️🤩

So glad to hear that others have struggled with W7 ( you know what I mean) as W7R2 was the first run I've struggled with.

I ran it yesterday, it felt lumpy and twice I chose to walk a few paces, not something I've had to do before.

Hope it was the warm weather and not something that will happen again tomorrow on run 3 😀 xx

If you weren't able to sustain a running motion throughout, do Run 2 again. (It's fine to go slower, take smaller, even tiny steps, but at this point it is all about maintaining the running motion and consolidating that)

Lumpy is such a great description!

I redid week 7 too, and found weeks 8 and 9 much easier as a result. Good luck!
