I’m new to the area I moved here to work during lock down so not that familiar with the area! I can run around the site which I work but I get bored quickly running were I live/work, maybe I should try that during the hot spell.
Running in warm weather is all about preparation. Proper and regular hydration, light and bright tech clothes and early starts. By early I mean before the sun gets above the horizon. If the sun is already up, run in shaded areas and slow right down, up to a minute slower than your regular pace. I LOVE running in hot weather (temperatures above 30c) and see this for what it is (warm not hot) and when prepared well everyone can have a good time. Having a good time is the point of all this.
