Up and out early this am but it was still boiling even at 7:30am. Other half followed on his bike and took some pics for me!

Well done! Good to have a supporter 🙂

I suggested the same thing to my old man that he could ride shotgun on my longer runs. He rolled his eyes and shook his head. That'll be a no then

Sigh

Yep, that's the response I normally get. Just once in a blue moon, he caves in. Then when we got home he said 'Dunno how you do that, I'd get bored'!! I need to keep working on him and maybe one day he'll have the courage to start C25K and see what it's really like!

Looks nice and quiet 😃 Yes, I was out at 7 this morning and it was very warm - one dog walker said 'you're brave running in this heat' so I replied 'or mad!' 😂

My son has offered to follow me on his bike with a spatula in his hand just like 'Run fatboy run' 😱

Great pic.

A jacket and running tights in this heat though? Are you a glutton for punishment?

Ah, yes well two reasons: pockets and horseflies! Need pockets for iPod, keys, mini water bottle and hanky (why does my nose always run when I do? Snot nice!). Tried a waist belt but I'm the wrong shape as when it was tight enough not to shift about, I couldn't expand my diaphragm to breathe.

Need tights to avoid the nasty big horseflies biting me. They lurk around the horses' fields - got two nasty bites on Monday which swelled up like golf balls.

Glutton for punishment - I'm a runner aren't I? Goes without saying 🏃‍♀️🤦‍♀️😁

I confess I ran yesterday at midday wearing a 15kg weight vest so a bit guilty of pot calling kettle black.

Horseflies have a mean bite!! Lovely photo and nice place to run. In fact thinking about warm, sunny weather and blue skies in January is rather nice! Raining, cold and gales here in Scotland with snow forecast for later!

Ah the lovely warm sun. I just can’t imagine that lovely warmth on my skin now! Don’t miss those pesky horseflies though! Hope the snow doesn’t stop you running up there in lovely Scotland!

Well, usually run in anything (except icy conditions!) but unfortunately I am resting a niggly ankle at the moment so only gentle dog walks at the moment :(
